Kode2Go: ColdFusion 8 CFC's...Coming Soon!
We’re working on Kode2Go’s CF8 implementation. For those of you who don’t know, K2G is a code generator which saves us a ton of time for ColdFusion, Flex, and a little Flash code. It is 100% for database related apps but it does a great job.
Anyways, K2G is being updated right now to work with the upgrades of ColdFusion8. We will provide a list of the changes from ColdFusion 7 CFC’s and ColdFusion 8 CFC’s, based on K2G’s implementation.
MORE TO COME!!! :-D

"Chase" Schema passes the test
Chase? This is the codename for our upcoming content management system. The database schema is about 95% complete. We are working on a few more tweaks but I couldn’t wait to put the schema to test…so I did.

Kode 2 Go Beta 2 in dev
We’re starting beta 2 of K2G today. It is pretty exciting and going to be a rather useful tool. If you don’t know, Kode 2 Go is a CRUD code generator (create/read/update/delete). It isn’t meant to be anything high level. The idea is to remove the redundant work of creating CRUD for database driven apps. This way the CRUD is created by K2G and you can concentrate on more important things like…ummm…the actual application/site you are building. :-)
K2G has received some great feedback from a number of people. We want to continue this success by ramping up the abilities of K2G. Doug, you will be able to do single table generation this time. :-) As we continue I will post more information regarding the new feature set, etc.
There is no set date for the end of Beta 2. Look for that information on here as well.

Kode 2 Go Beta Launch
Katapult Media is beta launching Kode 2 Go. Kode 2 Go is a code generator which presently creates CRUDV (create, read, update, delete, view) code for you. Currently it only supports CFC’s based on SQL Server but will soon expand to PHP classes, etc. The page is forced to SSL so passwords are secure.

Klients (tm) Alpha Launched
We launched our product Klients today. It isn’t the full product, no where close, but it does the basics of what we need right now.
Feature set:
* Process credit card payments via Authorize.net
* Link to project portal
That’s about it. :-) This product is one of our larger products in terms of dev time but we didn’t want to wait until everything was done to start collecting payments from our custom dev clients online so we launchd this portion only. I’ll give a full feature set once as we get those pieces launched. We’re sure it will be a high demand for such a product.
To clarify, it may not look like much of a product right now but it no doubt is. We will be releasing it to the public for a small fee. :-)
