Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! I just read the email from Matt Chotin with details. He added the link (below) which provides much more info on it.
Now, what do all of the OSS zealots (namely DH on RubyOnRails.org here and here) say about Flash vs Ajax now. ;-)
